HAPPY PRESIDENT'S DAY

Happy President's Day! Well today we decided to go to D.C. and spend some time together as a family. Since it was a holiday we had to park down by the capital building and walk down toward the National Monument. It was such a beautiful day. We walked to the Old Post Office. It was really neat. We were able to go up in the tower and get a great view of Washington, D.C. on the East side, West side, South side and North side. I had never been there so that was fun. We ended up eating lunch there. They had a Mongolian BBQ, which wasn't really my idea of Mongolian BBQ. I didn't eat there I just got a sandwhich. We then walked around more and took Milan to the National History Smithsonian and she loved it. It is so great that she is older because she really enjoyed looking at all the animals they had. Before we headed back to our car we took Milan on her first Merry Go Round ride. She loved it. When her an Munich were on the second ride there was a huge downpour. We had to run fast to our car that was parked a mile away. It was a fun day and I am so happy we were able to get out as a family.
