TURKEY BOWLYMPICS

I am behind yet again on the Lamjav happenings. Last Saturday our neighborhood friends got together and participated in the first ever Bowlympics. It first looked like it was going to be a washout but it turned out to be a beautiful day. Here is a picture of one of the events, Turkey Toss.

The kids enjoyed making Turkeys out of apples and marshmallows. Thanks Kim, great idea. Milan ended up eating all the marshmallows.
Each family was in charge of coming up with an event, we had to use a Turkey theme. Munich and I decided to bowl with a can of turkey. The idea was to knock over water bottles with the canned turkey. This is the picture of the turkey can on its last leg. Glad we didn't use a real turkey.

Munich demonstrating for the camera. This was such a fun event. Out of all the couples Munich and I came in 3rd place. Unfortunately during the doughnut eating contest I was to short to keep the doughnut still for Munich to eat it fast enough and plus I was holding Sofia.. Yeah I know excuses excuses. Really this was a fun day. The last even was an obstacle course through the playground equipment. It was fun to watch the grown men make their way through the little kids play equipment.

I would love more of the details of these events. I help plan activities for my neighborhood and my Mothers of Preschoolers group and I think doing something like this next year would be great. It looks like a lot of fun.
