OH THE JOYS

I feel like I have really fallen out of the blogging world lately! I can't believe how much time has passed since I have blogged. It seems like sometimes life as a parent catches up with me. I also feel like I have been running from one doctor to another lately. To catch you up:

1. Sofia made it to her annual endocrinologist appointment. It all went well and her doctor was so pleased with how she is developing. I have learned a lot from this doctor and enjoy talking to her each time we meet with her. She is very positive about Sofia and full of information on how to keep her healthy as she grows. I never knew how much the thyroid can affect many parts of our development. This is yet again another plus for the team of Doctors we have for our Sofia.

2. Milan has been sick with bronchitis. It started out as a bad cough and has continued to get worse. We went to the doctor over a week and a half ago, and she was given meds and it didn't help to much. Then the doctor decided to give her breathing treatments. We went back to the doctor today and it hasn't cleared up. So he sent us to the hospital to get an x-ray of her chest. I felt so bad I couldn't stay in the room with my girl because I had the baby with me. I am so glad she is a big girl! She was brave while I left the room for her to get the x-ray. She kept telling me after how brave she was. We got the results quickly and the doctor said the results were negative. ****Sigh of relief! ***** So he decided to start her on a steroid. I hope this does the trick.

3. I love my kids so much and I have decided being a parent is like being on a big roller coaster ride! You never know what is coming around the corner, lots of highs and lows. But I would not trade my kids in for anything. I love them so much.

Hopefully Milan is on her way to feeling better and I am glad to hear Sofia had a good visit. It is very important to like the doctors you go to and to feel confident in their choices on how to treat them.

With my children we have had the same doctor for the last 21 years and now have to move on to a regular doctor (the peditrician can no longer treat them) ~ sad sad day....we love our doctor...now Sunny and Shelby are the only ones to see him.

They grow to fast! Where did the time go?

I hope Milan is feeling better! She was brave to do the xray by herself.

I completely agree with your #3.
