WHAT WE HAVE BEEN DOING

I decided I better hurry and put a quick update on here. Munich and I and the girls have traveled to Utah for a couple weeks to visit family. We went camping with my mom and dad. We ended up going camping by bear Lake. It was a lot of fun. Both girls loved it. The campfire was a huge hit. (Smores) My dad made some wonderful dutch oven potato's, and chicken. We had pancakes and eggs. We hiked to a lake, where Milan talked a guy that was fishing into letting her fish. It was so cute. Munich had never been camping before and has since decided we need to get camping gear! I spent my summers growing up camping and fishing. They are some of my greatest memories with my family. We did a lot of driving up and down I15. We visited my grandmother, who is 86 and she made a great meal. She gets around well for her age. I visited my older brother and his family. They have a cute house in Mapleton. Their kids are so cute and we are so sad we are not able to be around to watch them grow up. The girls had so much fun with cousins. Sofia had some great babysitters! We had fun visiting with Munich's sister and her family from Canada. Their kids are so cute. We also saw my sister Melissa and had a fun 4th of July with them. It was great going to a hometown parade, which by the way they threw a lot of candy and toys out to the parade watchers. You won't find that out in DC. :) We had a wonderful fireworks show right in my sisters neighborhood. Everyone that wants buys fireworks and then brings them out to the street and has a big show. It was great. We ended up taking Sofia to the ER. A trip to Utah has a least one visit to the doctor. We were told Sofia had the flu. So she took some tamaflu medicine. After she got on the meds she got better really fast. That was scary and a relief to get her better so fast. We had lots of time with cousins and Milan has discovered the Nintendo DS. I can't seem to break her away from it. I am glad we don't have one! We finished off our trip with a visit to Malad, Idaho to see my grandfather. It was a lot of fun. Milan had fun walking to a new pond my uncle is building. He decided since my grandpa is getting older why not build a pond in his back yard, fill it with fish so he can fish anytime he wants to without leaving home. How great is that? Milan also got to ride around on a 4 wheeler. She didn't want to stop riding. This has been a wonderful trip and great memories for the Lamjav family. I was so happy to take a vacation and Munich be here with us and no work. It was wonderful. In fact it has been so great I have extended my stay until August 1st. Munich had to go home for work so the girls and I are staying for a few more weeks. Today we are leaving for Oregon. We are going to drive up the coast and go visit my sister and her family I have not seen in 2 years. I am so excited for another fun trip with my parents. This has been a wonderful visit with family. Since I don't have my computer with me I will post pictures when I get back.

I know what you mean about the Nintendo DS. Ian discovered it about a year and a half ago, but just got one a few weeks ago. He is very responsible with it and follows the rules (time contraints) we have set for him. Wish I could see you while you were here!

It sounds like a wonderful trip. Thanks for the update on Sofia. It sounds like she is doing great with her motor skills! How exciting! I can't wait to see her when you get back.

We LOVE camping. It seems like Amazon discounts a lot of their camping supplies in August.
