FINALLY PICTURES OF SOFIA

I am so happy that blogger finally let me upload some much awaited pictures of baby Sofia. These pictures are one of the first few nights home from the hospital. This is proud sister Milan, cousin Hannah and baby Sofia.
Baby Sofia is already starting to fill out in the face. It is amazing how much a week will do with a new baby. Milan is so happy to have little sister home and is being such a big helper to mamma and daddy.
Isn't she a cutie. I just love her so much. This past week has been filled with so many emotions of having baby and her diagnosis of downs. I have not had alot of time for it to sink in. I think once I heal from the c-secion I will have more time to read about it and find the help I need to help her. I have never felt so many emotions in my life. This is going to be a great learning experience for our family. I also believe it will bring us closer to our Heavenly Father. Sofia is a great baby, doesn't really cry at all. She is very calm and sleeps so wonderfully. I am getting some sleep and I think that is very helpful. We have really enjoyed having grandma Shepherd here to help I couldn't have done any of this with out her help. I think I would be a wreck if she wasn't here. I am so sad she will be leaving on Thursday. Munich left for San Fransico today and won't be back until late tomorrow night. I am so thankful for him and all the hard work he does to help support his family.

Amy, I was so happy to chat with you even for a few minutes on the phone the other day. These pictures are beautiful, she looks like a little china doll with her perfect skin! I know a few people with downs children and one runs an organization for her child, I could get more info on it if you would like me to!

Sofia is beautiful. She looks like an angel. When I saw pictures of her you can just feel that she was a sweet pure spirit. You are truely amazing, and how incredible that Heavenly Father trusts you to be her mom. And how lucky for you that she sleeps so well. She is truely an angel baby.

I love how Milan is looking at Sofia in the first picture, you can tell she absolutely adores her. And I am sure Sofia returns the feeling. I can't believe it was Milan that used to be that small and now she's the big sister! Congrats again on your beautiful family.

Amy, I'm so happy for you and your family. You and Munich will be the best parent's for both of your girls. Sofia is beautiful! You guys are so blessed. I know I have no expertise on Down Syndrome, but with Kobe, I know it can be great just to talk to a friend about your experiences. Miss you!
